Hm, rather surprising turn of events.

Reldon's been watching the Pacific theater for a while, Ambassador Reldon has been providing interesting detail, though he has been reigning in, possibly due to suspicions concerning his daughter's inquiries.

In an interesting turn of events, the Ambassador received a letter from one of the escapees from Reldon's initiative. The Red Army is in the northern parts of China, moving around, trying to recoup. Some of the escapees are organizing against them.

Reldon may have started changes earlier than realized.

Tonight's raid was productive but not successful. Agents were injured in a firefight outside of the building. Marshland and Reldon sustained moderate injuries because they were unable to reach acceptable cover before the backup crews arrived on scene. Sayre was notified and utilized.

Their efforts made escape possible, but the results are unacceptable.

I did not expect to see a Shadow talking like that with one of my agents about myself. I may have been a bit hasty in my reaction, but that's not exactly something one wants to see while incapacitated.

It explains some of Reldon's recent behavior however.

I am aware she is on duty in his world, and seeing as I have no pressing issues for her to attend to while I finish recovery, I intend to let her remain working for him right now. Vincent and Hawkeye have been thorough in keeping an eye on those watching Reldon. Repeated attempts by the unwelcome party to wire her apartment or corner her for questioning have failed due to her efforts to keep her true activities hidden.

Once she is finished, we will attend to the offending Bureau official. They are nothing short of a nuisance, and my research into their true motives and practices is proving fruitful. Once she is rid of this menace, I will allow her to resume standard agent duties.
