C&C plot ideas - possible spoilers

As of late, I’ve been giving some thought to the information The Shadow has gained through the Major concerning the Wingboys. I’ve been watching some interactions on logs, particularly Seras’ attempted investigation into Weasel’s apartment, and I’ve gained a few ideas I would like to pass by everyone, and see what you think.

Currently, the only information that The Shadow has concerns the Wingboys and the fact that The Major has deduced their involvement in the incident in Korea. I was wondering if it would be alright to propose The Shadow sowing the seeds to attempt bringing down or severely hampering Weasel’s illegal gun trade, by using this avenue to work his way into things.

At this current time, my train of thought is as follows:
~Lamont determines that the Wingboys must be getting their resources from someone
~He looks into their source of weapons and links them to Weasel
~Weasel hasn’t appeared to be making any attempts to keep the fact that he’s dealing illegal weaponry out of his apartment a secret, The Shadow tracks this location, possibly making a sneaky visit to appraise the location and his stockpile
~Either by commissioning Weasel, and setting him up; or some other method of exposing the operation, The Shadow makes an attempt to get Weasel arrested, or at least force him to shut down his operation. There also remains the option that The Shadow would consider using Weasel to track clients who might be up to criminal activities.

Right now, I will admit that I lack a lot of information which would help determine if this progression is even possible. I know the Wingboys are tech-extraordinaires, and that Weasel is a technomancy super-nerd, but I hope, considering The Shadow pals around with the likes of James Bond and Jack Bauer, he might have a way to work his spy-thing and telepathy to get results.

I’ve included everyone below as a recipient to this message, as I’d like to find out what everyone’s take is on the idea. Please let me know if you think it’s possible, impossible, if I’ve missed someone, or if you’re not interested. This whole idea is very, very open for edits, and such.

Technically, Trowa is the only one who's made a purchase from Weasel, and just this one time; the guns are also specifically for his own use--he hasn't even told the other Wingboys that he's getting them. Quatre supplies them with everything else and pretty much always has, save for some of the stuff that was purchased from Mello way back in the early early game (which may be destroyed/lost now anyway IDEK ahaha).

However, if you would like to follow Trowa to his stash place for the guns and ammo he's going to get and confront him on that with Shadow, then I'm perfectly fine as long as Bitsy has an okay with it?

Ah, thank you for the great reply. Considering this, I think I'll propose a different objective, perhaps stalking the Wingboys and trying to figure out what they're about rather than making any sort of move against them. I'd really like to try and have the character get an idea of who The Major has been watching. In the very least, depending on how things go, I'd like to have him get an idea of whether they are on a side, or in it for themselves.

I don't know if the group has any plans or not, I don't want to interfere with anything.

That's good too! Honestly, I'm always pretty open to this or that, so once you get replies from everyone else or if you have more ideas swing a line any time! I'm still looking forward to him doing such things :3

Saying this here so the information is viewable to anyone that is interested, but Quatre does not get his weapons from Weasel. In fact, most, if not all, of his weapons come from a vast supply that was given to him by the previous Duo, who received them from Mello. The weapons could likely be traced to someone by the name of M, but beyond that, there's no connection because money/paperwork/etc. was never done. It was just a simple exchange of hands when one was ported out and so on.

We've already spoken about this, but again, I am still up for The Shadow finding out what he can about the Wingboys. Right now, he's likely gotten the connection between Quatre and Nanashi, which has been long established in game. Zero and Shinigami may be a bit more difficult to connect to him, but still possible with some digging and permission from Maggie and Curry.

I'm very open for suggestions and possible ideas to be quite honest and I hope any of the above makes sense.
